Letitia James Shows Up to Court, Pleads Not Guilty, Then Gives Most Eye-Rolling Speech Ever

Posted on November 3, 2025 By Star No Comments on Letitia James Shows Up to Court, Pleads Not Guilty, Then Gives Most Eye-Rolling Speech Ever

New York Attorney General Letitia James strutted into a Virginia courthouse Friday to plead not guilty to federal mortgage fraud charges — and what followed was pure irony. The outspoken Democrat, who made a career out of weaponizing the legal system against her political enemies, stood before a crowd of supporters and complained that she was now the victim of a “weaponized” justice system.

It was a comically tone-deaf performance — the kind only a career partisan could deliver with a straight face.

The overacting was downright hilarious. You could practically see her straining for a dramatic moment that just wasn’t there. Whoever wrote that speech must think Letitia James is auditioning for a civil rights biopic — but newsflash: she’s not Martin Luther King, Jr.

Watching her try to cast herself as some noble freedom fighter while facing federal fraud charges was peak political theater:

JAMES: So there’s no fear today. No fear. No fear! No fear! No fear! Because I believe that justice will rain down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream. And I’m here to say that my work, and my job, and all that I do, all throughout my public career, I’ve stood up for the rights of New Yorkers and Americans, and I will not be deterred. I will not, I will not be deterred! I will not be distracted! I will do my job each and every day, and that’s why I’m headed back to New York, because there’s work to be done standing up for the rule of law. God bless you and thank you all!

Oh, brother. “I’m headed back to New York, because there’s work to be done standing up for the rule of law…” Really? This is the hill she’s gonna die on – the “law and order” hill?

The fact that her own niece, who’s been living in the very home tied to her alleged mortgage fraud, happens to be a fugitive with a criminal record a mile long says everything.

This isn’t about “racial justice” or “standing up for all of us.” It’s about one thing—accountability. James built her brand on attacking conservatives and Donald Trump for supposed “abuses of power,” all while allegedly committing real ones herself. Now that she’s the one under scrutiny, suddenly the justice system is “unfair”? Spare us.

Let’s not forget who Letitia James really is. This is the same woman who strutted into office with one mission: to “get” Donald Trump, no matter what it took—facts, evidence, and basic ethics be damned. She wasn’t interested in justice; she was chasing headlines and applause from her far-left fanbase. The notion that James is suddenly some moral authority on the rule of law is beyond parody. She helped destroy every norm about using prosecutorial power as a political weapon, and now that the same weapon is being aimed her way, she’s crying foul.

Sorry, but you don’t get to play the victim when you built the playbook. James lectured the rest of us about “no one being above the law,” even penning cringeworthy mock-poems taunting Trump over it:

James doesn’t deserve your sympathy or your respect—she torched both a long time ago. This is a woman who gleefully shattered every standard of fairness in pursuit of political scalps, convinced she’d never face the same fire she set. She fancied herself untouchable, a self-anointed crusader who could do no wrong—because in her mind, the rules were for everyone else.

But now, those very rules she twisted and abused have come knocking. The irony is delicious: the woman who made “no one is above the law” her personal slogan is now learning what it actually means. Sure, maybe a Norfolk jury won’t be immune to the political theater, but that doesn’t change the reality—Letitia James is finally being forced to live by the same weaponized system she unleashed on others.

Call it karma. Call it justice. But don’t call Tish James a victim.
