Democrats love illegal aliens much more than they love American citizens because inviting millions of people into our country and settling them in blue states helps keep their census high so they don’t lose congressional seats. And hey, if it takes hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes to support them after they’ve been imported, well, that’s just the ‘cost of doing business.’ No big deal.
That’s a large part of why they have embraced Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the MS-13 gang banger the Trump administration rightfully deported back to his home country of El Salvador. But this time, the party’s very public backing for a this particular illegal alien is costing them a ton of political capital, and frankly, we couldn’t be happier about it.
The history behind Abrego Garcia just got worse. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a second protective order filed against him this week, further collapsing the Democrat and left-wing legacy media’s “Maryland Man” narrative. Abrego Garcia is accused of threatening and repeatedly abusing his wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, based on a protective order she filed in August 2020. Her allegations of domestic abuse include claims that in December 2019, Abrego Garcia dragged her out of a vehicle by her hair and left her stranded on the street. In January 2020, he reportedly broke her son’s tablet and damaged doors in their home.
Additionally, in March 2020, he allegedly pushed her against a wall while breaking televisions and phones. Sura additionally claimed in the 2020 protective petition that she had a recording of Abrego Garcia stating that “even if he kills me, no one can do anything to him.” The petition was filed about a year before Sura submitted a second domestic violence restraining order in 2021. The Trump administration is using the newly surfaced allegations from 2020 as evidence that Abrego Garcia should not be allowed to return to the U.S., the Daily Caller noted.
“The facts are clear: Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a violent illegal alien who abuses women and children,” Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement. “He had no business being in our country and we are proud to have deported this violent thug.” She continued: “We have now found two petitions for protection against him, in addition to the fact that he entered the country illegally and is a confirmed member of MS-13. Our country is safer with him gone.”
Of course, it is. And our country becomes safer — and more law-abiding — every single day the Trump administration’s mass deportation operation continues, despite Democratic protestations about “due process” and “fairness in the system” and yada, yada, yada. But know this: The real reason Democrats hate what Trump is doing and are fighting to keep every single illegal alien in America has nothing to do with “compassion” or “justice.” It’s about obtaining raw political power, which in and of itself is disgraceful.
