Trump Admin Drops A Brilliant Plan To Put Deportations On Steroids

Posted on May 5, 2025 By Star No Comments on Trump Admin Drops A Brilliant Plan To Put Deportations On Steroids

One way or another, President Donald Trump has vowed that the administration will mass deport as many illegal aliens as were let in and distributed around the country under the regime of President Joe Autopen, and apparently that will include the adoption of some very creative ideas such as a new policy just introduced by the Department of Homeland Security that would provide illegals in the country with additional resources to “self-deport.”

The policy shift, scheduled to be announced Monday by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, will allow the federal government to cover the cost of commercial flights for migrants who voluntarily choose to return to their home countries. The move is intended to reduce the burden on U.S. taxpayers by avoiding the higher costs and administrative complexities associated with apprehension, legal proceedings, and formal deportation.

The agency is also expected to announce that migrants who voluntarily comply could receive a $1,000 cash incentive upon verified departure from the country. While the idea of offering financial rewards to individuals who entered the U.S. illegally is likely to spark outrage among some, DHS argues the policy yields substantial cost savings. According to Fox News, the average expense of detaining and deporting an undocumented immigrant is approximately $17,500 per person, compared to just $4,500 to support and incentivize voluntary self-deportation.

Individuals interested in applying can download the CBP Home app on their mobile device and submit an application to begin. “If you are here illegally, self-deportation is the best, safest, and most cost-effective way to leave the United States to avoid arrest,” Noem said in a statement. DHS supports its proposal with evidence demonstrating its effectiveness, according to the agency.

“They tell us they’ve already tested this out. Recently, they paid for an illegal alien to fly from Chicago back to Honduras. They tell us any aliens who sign up to self-deport will be immediately de-prioritized as a target for ICE,” said correspondent Bill Melugin. He stated that “thousands” have already registered, and officials anticipate that number will rise significantly in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks to Democrat-led lawfare, the Trump administration will have a much more difficult time deporting millions of migrants than President Autopen had importing them. But the president and his people appear to understand that, so they’re getting creative in order to fulfill Trump’s campaign pledge of mass deportations, which a majority of Americans still back.
