Karoline Leavitt Stumped By A Precocious Kid With Very Simple Question

Posted on May 22, 2025 By Star No Comments on Karoline Leavitt Stumped By A Precocious Kid With Very Simple Question

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had an intriguing day at work, taking tough questions from a group of kids.

It was “Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day,” and the kids had plenty of questions for the press secretary.

“How many people has he fired?” one of the kids asked her.

“Thus far we have not actually had anyone fired – with the exception of one individual who did leave their job,’ Leavitt said. ‘But we have a great team here – so far, so good,” the press secretary replied.

Another kid asked her what her least favorite news organization is.

“I can tell you’re a staff kid, not a journalist,” Leavitt said with a laugh. “Honestly, it depends on the day.”

One of the other youngsters asked a pretty tough question when they said, “What is Donald Trump willing to do about climate change?”

“What is Donald Trump willing to do about climate? What is Donald Trump going to do about climate change? Well, that is a very good question,” the press secretary said.

“The president cares very much about our environment. He says all the time he wants to have the cleanest air, the cleanest water, the cleanest environment for the world. We also care very much about our energy independence and ensuring that we can keep the lights on in our homes at a very cheap rate,” she said.

The press secretary had to deal with a much more serious matter just days prior.

Leavitt responded following former President Joe Biden’s announcement on Sunday that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive type of prostate cancer.

During a press briefing on Monday morning, Leavitt confirmed to a reporter that Trump and Biden have not spoken but that Trump would be more than open to speaking to Biden and helping in any way that he can.

“Not to my knowledge, I don’t believe they have spoken, but I’m sure the President would be open to doing that. I spoke to him last night about the former president’s cancer diagnosis, and the statement that he put out was the initial reaction he had with me on the phone,” Leavitt said.

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy then asked, “Is President Trump worried about the quality of care that Presidents get here?”

“Not as far as President Trump is concerned. The White House physician we have here is phenomenal, and the team of physicians that take care of the President, particularly at Walter Reed Medical Center, are great. The President had his physical recently, as you know. He had perfect results. He’s in very good shape. I think those of you who traveled to the Middle East with us last week can attest to the President’s endurance,” Leavitt responded.

Biden and his family “are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone. While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” Biden announced in a statement.

A popular medical scholar and physician known for mocking Republicans is asking questions about Biden’s cancer diagnosis.

Howie Forman, a professor of radiology and biomedical imaging, public health (health policy), management, and economics at Yale University, delivered a deeply concerning opinion on social media.

“It is inconceivable that this was not being followed before he left the Presidency. Gleason grade 9 would have had an elevated PSA level for some time before this diagnosis. And he must have had a PSA test numerous times before. This is odd. I wish him well and hope he has an opportunity for maximizing his quality of life,” Forman said on X.
