Jennifer Aniston has just made things official with her new boyfriend, hypnotherapist and wellness coach Jim Curtis.
The Morning Show host, 56, posted a sweet birthday tribute on November 2, sharing a photo of herself hugging Curtis from behind and writing, “Happy birthday my love. Cherished ❤️.”
The post confirmed what fans had suspected since the summer, when the pair were seen vacationing together in Mallorca with friends including Jason Bateman and Amy Schumer. Reports say Aniston and Curtis were introduced by a mutual friend and have been quietly dating since June, after being spotted dining together in Big Sur, California.
By the end of the summer, Aniston posted photos recapping her season. In one of them, her fans could see a man looking out over a stunning beach sunset.
Aniston, who was previously married twice — to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux — has largely kept her relationships private, but her new post suggests she’s ready to share her happiness again, this time with someone who seems to bring real calm into her life.
Before they made it Instagram official, a source close to the actress told People Magazine that the couple have been seeing each other for a couple of months. “They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work. She’s really into self-help and wellness. They are dating, but it’s still casual,” the source said.
According to his website, Curtis describes himself as a “wellness pioneer, author, and coach.” Apparently, he helps people “break free form their past to create an entirely new, empowered reality” and “step into the version of [themselves] that attracts love, wealth, opportunity, and joy with ease.”
In August, a source shared with People that Curtis has helped the Friends star “slow down.”
He “helped her turn inwards and slow down a bit,” the source said, adding that he “really appreciates and feels proud of everything she’s built.
“She can be very hard on herself … He supports her in a way that feels new,” they added.
However, now that her relationship to Curtis is Instagram official, her fans can’t hide their excitement.
“LOVE YOU TWO TOGETHER,” one person wrote. “Be happy, Jenn, you deserve it too much,” another added.
“This post just made my whole week and it’s not even Monday yet 🥹🥰,” declared a third.
Another fan posted, “happiness looks beautiful on you, mama JA ❤️.”
