Teens Are Holding Bags Of Bleach On Face To Change Eye Color

Posted on August 17, 2024 By Star No Comments on Teens Are Holding Bags Of Bleach On Face To Change Eye Color

Effective for removing stubborn stains from textiles like carpets, furniture, and clothes, bleach is powerful disinfectant. However, it’s imperative to remember that bleach is not a play. Although this substance can be hazardous if misused, sadly, some people handle it as though it were innocuous.

TikTok is a new software that’s becoming popular among youngsters. This app’s appeal for being hip and edgy has contributed to its enormous success. TikTok is a fantastic fit for teens who are naturally drawn to anything that feels fresh and exciting. Their zeal frequently pushes people to adopt foolish and dangerous trends without thinking through the possible repercussions.

Users of the app TikTok can upload videos of themselves doing a variety of things, such dancing, singing, or playing instruments. The creator becomes more well-known and gets more attention the more likes a video receives. We’ll refer to this concerning trend as the “bleach phenomenon” that has emerged recently. By holding a bag of bleach close to their face, participants in this risky challenge are encouraged to try changing the colour of their eyes. It is obvious that this is not only untrue but also quite dangerous.

Some TikTok users, such as Greg Lammers, have been pushing this dangerous theory and saying it works in spite of apparent warnings. Jooliagoolia69, another user, even went so far as to fabricate a video to demonstrate how bleach may turn brown eyes blue. Teenagers who are readily duped by such deceptive material may attempt these risky antics themselves.

This kind of dangerous behaviour frequently uses other products, such as shaving cream or hand sanitiser, in place of bleach. The plan is to combine these ingredients in a bag, hold it up to the eye, and watch for a purported colour shift. Despite its ostensibly harmless and enjoyable nature, this craze is anything from safe and is to be avoided at all costs.

Over 500 million users worldwide create, watch, and like videos on TikTok, which continues to draw in millions of users. Teens who want to follow the newest trends and become internet celebrities can join a lively community that is fostered by the app. However, there’s a chance that risky challenges will gain popularity with every new trend.

Teens and their parents need to be cautious when it comes to following fads like this as the next great thing comes along. Safety should always come first, and sacrificing one’s health for internet celebrity is never worth it.
