Starbucks Worker Reduced To Tears With 8-Hour Shift
Life always has its ups and downs, but we generally try to stay positive and handle whatever comes our way. This is especially true when it comes to our jobs. Sometimes, we’re happy with our work, other days, not so much.
There are folks who absolutely love what they do, others who can’t stand it, and many who find themselves somewhere in between. One day might be great, and the next, we’re counting down the minutes until we can leave.
Often, when we need to vent about our jobs, we talk to friends or family. Occasionally, we might share our frustrations with coworkers or our boss. But one Starbucks employee took a different route and vented to the whole world. In a viral video, he shared his feelings from the stockroom.
This employee was upset because he was scheduled for 25 hours a week and had to work two 8-hour shifts over the weekend.
Balancing a heavy workload is tough, especially if you’re also a full-time student, like this Starbucks worker. Sometimes, though, you just have to soldier on and get through it.

In the video, you can see the employee almost in tears, expressing his desire to quit and his wish for a union.
Reactions in the comments were mixed. Some showed no sympathy, telling him to toughen up. Others felt he had a right to be frustrated and supported his feelings. Eight-hour shifts might be common, but for a full-time student, it can feel overwhelming.
