Trump Announces White House Role For Alina Habba

Posted on January 20, 2025 By Star No Comments on Trump Announces White House Role For Alina Habba

President-elect Donald Trump said that Alina Habba, one of the lawyers who has helped him fight many lawsuits over the past few years, will help run the White House during his second term in office.

“I am pleased to announce that Alina Habba will join my White House Team as Counselor to the President,” Trump said on his Truth Social website. “Alina has been a tireless advocate for Justice, a fierce Defender of the Rule of Law, and an invaluable Advisor to my Campaign and Transition Team.”

Habba “has been unwavering in her loyalty, and unmatched in her resolve — standing with me through numerous ‘trials,’ battles, and countless days in Court. Few understand the Weaponization of the ‘Injustice’ System better than Alina, who has fought relentlessly against the full force of Lawfare with courage and an unshakable commitment to Justice,” Trump said.

“As a first generation American of Middle Eastern Heritage, she has become a role model for women in Law and Politics, most recently being named Chaldean Woman of the Year,” Trump continued, concluding with: “Congratulations to Alina, her husband Gregg, and her three beautiful children, Chloe, Luke, and Parker.”

During Trump’s historic October rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City before the election, Habba spoke about “lawfare” overshadowing the 2024 campaign.

“They tried to keep President Trump and his campaign in courtrooms being persecuted. But, do you know what he did while he was in those New York courtrooms? He won the hearts and minds of the American people all from this city,” Habba said.

She added, “You see the deep state, they underestimate how smart we are, and they want the American people to fall in like a bunch of sheep. You know what they don’t realize, New York? We’re going to be the ones herding sheep out of the White House on November 5. Because, Kamala Harris, you are getting evicted from my president’s house!”

Trump has talked about some of the top people he hired for the White House after beating Vice President Kamala Harris in the election.

The person Trump chose to be his White House chief of staff was Susie Wiles, who ran his campaign in 2024. Steven Cheung, who is Trump’s spokesman, was chosen to be his press secretary.

Another spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, was chosen to be the press secretary for the White House.

Stephen Miller is going back to the White House to work as Trump’s deputy chief of staff for policy and national security adviser.

David Warrington, who was the top lawyer for Trump’s campaign, has been hired as White House counsel.

Trump also named some people he wants to work at the State Department on Sunday, along with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), his choice for secretary of state.

Michael Anton was chosen to be the director of policy planning at the State Department. During Trump’s first term, he was the spokeswoman for the National Security Council.

Trump said that Michael Needham, who was Rubio’s chief of staff, would be his choice for assistant at the State Department. He also said that Christopher Landau, who was U.S. ambassador to Mexico, would be his choice for deputy secretary of state.

The president has been making staff announcements at a rapid pace as he prepares to take office and implement a series of significant changes on day one.
