SEE IT: Dem Rep. Reveals Plot To Disrupt Trump Agenda

Posted on April 16, 2025 By Star No Comments on SEE IT: Dem Rep. Reveals Plot To Disrupt Trump Agenda

Democrat Rep. Laura Friedman (D-CA) made a notable admission during a Monday night town hall in Los Angeles, revealing that House Democrats have been coordinating weekly with state attorneys general to craft legal strategies targeting President Donald Trump’s agenda. Friedman described the effort as a structured, behind-the-scenes operation—not a sporadic or informal collaboration.

“Every single week we have a litigation working group where a large group of us—and I’m talking there’s maybe 75 members of the House—sit down every single week with the AGs to talk about legal strategy,” Friedman said. “This is all going on every single week behind the scenes. It is non-stop.”

Her remarks provided rare on-the-record confirmation of a claim long made by conservatives—that Democrats are engaged in a coordinated “lawfare” campaign to challenge and obstruct Trump’s policies through the courts. Friedman made the comments during a tense town hall, where a packed and vocal crowd—some waving trans pride flags, wearing masks, and demanding tougher action against the Trump administration—filled the venue.

The admission comes amid escalating tensions between the Trump administration and the political left. Across courtrooms and Capitol Hill, Democrats and their legal allies are increasingly turning to litigation to block, stall, or undermine key initiatives from the Trump White House. But the legal offensive isn’t confined to the courts. According to Friedman, the strategy also reaches into the media, where messaging plays a central role.

“Non-stop being on social media as much as we can without being throttled and without the, you know, crazy analytics and doing all these things,” she said, referencing how Democrats try to leverage public platforms to shape narratives around their legal campaigns. “I know that a lot of you are mad at me and want me to do more, but I think that you’re even madder at this administration and want them to stop their lawless actions,” Friedman said according to Politico. “Believe me, I’m scared too, and I’m angry too.”

The congresswoman received loud applause after referencing recent visits from progressive leaders such as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). Friedman acknowledged growing pressure from constituents to push harder on left-wing priorities and assured the crowd that she was taking those demands seriously. “I will fight every way that I know how,” she said. Friedman, a freshman Democrat, tried to reassure attendees by pointing to several courtroom wins that had stalled White House-backed policies.
