There is a reason the so-called “mainstream media” is about as popular as a summer rash and about as trustworthy as a used electric car salesman, and it’s because a) they are incapable of being honest with the American people, and b) see answer ‘a.’ Case in point: The ridiculous claim this week following the White House Correspondents Dinner that ‘they didn’t know’ President Autopen, Joe Biden, was ‘not right in the head’ throughout his presidency.
What’s worse, not only did these journalistic carpetbaggers lie to cover up his declining mental capacities, they trashed anyone — Republicans mostly, but others as well — who pointed out what was obvious to anyone who isn’t in the left-wing Democratic cult. This, even as they tried to ridiculously claim that it was really Donald Trump who was losing his mind.
The effort to rewrite history really ramped up when CNN’s Jake Tapper announced in February he’d be co-authoring a book (due in May) with Axios’s Alex Thompson exposing a scandal that was obvious to anyone a pair of eyes and ears that functioned. The White House Correspondents’ Association even celebrated Thompson at their latest “nerd prom” for his self-styled “honest reporting” on Biden’s mental fitness. Most recently, former “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd had an on-camera meltdown over the so-called “virtue signalers” who dared to call out the media for parroting the Biden administration’s spin.
Of course, the reality is they covered up his cognitive decline and planned to continue doing so through the 2024 election—until Biden took the stage for that live debate with Donald Trump last summer and made it painfully clear to everyone that his mental sharpness was seriously lacking. Last night, Stephen Miller (of The Spectator, not the White House advisor) took us on a trip down memory lane, presenting one piece of evidence after another—articles, tweets, screenshots—to expose the absurdity of the media’s claim that “we missed the story.”

The ‘mainstream media’ didn’t ‘miss the story’ about Biden’s miserable mental status. They saw it every single day, many of them up close and personal, and made the conscious decision to not only ignore the massive liability he was, but also the fact that he clearly wasn’t running the country and they never sought to find out who actually was. In short: The legacy media took part in the greatest political scandal in the history of our country. Not one of them should ever be trusted again.
