Young Democrats Drop Truth Bombs On Their Party – And Trump Loves It

Posted on April 30, 2025 By Star No Comments on Young Democrats Drop Truth Bombs On Their Party – And Trump Loves It

President Donald Trump won more of the youth vote than any other Republican candidate in at least a generation, and the further we get into his second term, it seems like young Americans — even those who identify as and voted as Democrats — are in awe of his accomplishments. This was on full display during a Fox News panel to observe Trump’s 100th day in office, where even self-described young Democrats offered him praise.

First things first. The core reason ‘America Last’ Democrats keep self-destructing is that they have no effective response to Trump’s string of successes—every statement they issue and action they take seems to backfire. They’ve repeatedly invoked “Hitler” and harped on a “constitutional crisis” at every manufactured pretext, staged absurd mock sit-ins, chanted hollow slogans, crooned outdated protest songs, and even complained they weren’t radical enough during the campaign. These TDS-plagued politicians simply have no clue.

But if anyone in the Democratic hierarchy wants to listen, a group of young voters explained quite clearly why they have mad respect for Trump, and why Democrats continue to disappoint. One, Domenick, a college student who voted Democrat in 2024, told host Harris Faulkner and other panelists: “What I like most about Trump is that he’s doing what he said he was [going to] do, whether you like or dislike his policies. In the past, a lot of politicians said what the crowd in front of them wanted to hear and then did what they wanted to do. This president is doing exactly what he said in rapid speed.”

Trump, too, tells his supporters what they want to hear, but he continually highlights his progress on the promises he made during the campaign. Andrew, a college-aged Democrat on the panel, voiced his frustration with the party’s recent actions and its potential future direction: “I think a big failure with the Democratic Party in recent elections is almost a calling to anoint a person, with 2016 clearing the field for Hillary, a similar thing to a lesser extent for Biden. And now with the most recent election with Kamala Harris. The last time that we had a truly open primary was, in my opinion, was in 2008. And look at what happened with Obama.”

Yes, well, the Obama disaster is a topic for another day, but obviously Andrew has a point in that the elites in his party don’t really care all that much about the “democracy” they claim to respect because they’re always picking who their party should vote for, not the party’s voters, as in allowing primaries to take place.

Recent Fox News surveys show Trump’s strongest approval rating to date on border security at 55%, yet fresh data from the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics places his approval among 18- to 29-year-olds at 31%—virtually unchanged since his first term began. It’s clear that Trump, and Republicans by default (if they follow his lead), are appealing to a broader segment of the young voting-age population. That’s what happens when you embrace America, keep boys out of girls’ locker rooms and showers, and cling to biological truths like there are only two sexes.
