Trump Slams Federal Judge For Blocking Deportation Of ‘Dangerous’ Aliens

President Trump is calling on the Supreme Court to “put an END to the quagmire that has been caused by the Radical Left,” after a Biden-appointed federal judge blocked the deportation of illegal immigrants to South Sudan.

The Trump administration erupted in frustration after Judge Brian Murphy, nominated by President Biden to the U.S. District Court in Massachusetts, halted the flight, claiming it “unquestionably” violated one of his earlier rulings.

Back in April, Murphy ruled that deportable aliens must be given a chance to argue that their safety would be at risk if removed to a country other than their home nation. That decision already blocked flights to Libya earlier this month—and now it’s been extended to South Sudan.

In an emergency hearing, Murphy declared that the eight illegal immigrants aboard the plane—each convicted of violent crimes—were not granted a meaningful opportunity to object, even as they were being flown to a war-torn nation.

In a court filing, the Justice Department, represented by Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, disagreed and pointed out that each deported individual had already received due process.

“A local city judge in Boston has halted the deportation of 8 convicted and ultra-violent illegal alien murderers and child predators and forced ICE officers to live with them full time — without secure housing — while the Boston judge tries to fly them back to America,” Miller posted on X along with screenshots of the DOJ rebuttal.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) records reveal that the eight individuals aboard the blocked flight had been convicted of crimes including murder and child rape, with some final deportation orders dating as far back as 1999, 2005, and 2009.

Murphy further ordered that the illegal immigrants aboard the plane—now reportedly grounded at a U.S. military base in Djibouti—must receive at least 72 hours’ notice before undergoing “credible fear screenings.” He also ruled they must be granted 15 days to reopen their immigration cases if they can establish a “credible fear” of persecution.

“A Federal Judge in Boston, who knew absolutely nothing about the situation, or anything else, has ordered that EIGHT of the most violent criminals on Earth curtail their journey to South Sudan, and instead remain in Djibouti,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform Thursday. “He would not allow these monsters to proceed to their final destination.”

“This is not the premise under which I was elected President, which was to PROTECT our Nation,” the president added. “The Judges are absolutely out of control, they’re hurting our Country, and they know nothing about particular situations, or what they are doing — And this must change, IMMEDIATELY!”

Murphy also ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to submit weekly status updates on the eight criminal illegal immigrants—whether they remain in the U.S. or are held overseas—so long as they have access to phones and legal counsel, the Boston Herald reported.

According to Todd Lyons, acting director of ICE, their home countries—Cuba, Laos, Mexico, Myanmar, Vietnam, and South Sudan—have refused to take them back.

“It was impossible for these people to have a meaningful opportunity to object to their transfer to South Sudan,” Murphy said.

“Judge Brian Murphy is not the secretary of state, he is not the secretary of defense, or the commander in chief. He is a district court judge in Massachusetts,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters in Washington on Thursday. “He cannot control foreign policy or national security of the United States of America, and to suggest otherwise is being completely absurd.”
