DOJ Charges 4 More Portland Antifa Members For Attacking ICE Facility

Posted on July 2, 2025 By Star No Comments on DOJ Charges 4 More Portland Antifa Members For Attacking ICE Facility

The Department of Justice charged four additional individuals affiliated with Antifa on Monday for alleged criminal activities during the ongoing Antifa occupation outside the ICE facility in South Portland.

The defendants were arrested on charges including assault on federal officers, felony arson, vandalism, and disobeying lawful orders, among others. This marks nearly a month into the anti-ICE occupation, which has so far led to 17 federal charges.

Nadya Sofia Malinowska, 33, of Portland—born Marek Greger Belka—has been charged with three counts of failing to obey lawful orders. Court documents allege that Malinowska refused police orders to vacate federal property during protests at the ICE office on three occasions: June 17, June 21, and June 29, the latter being the date of her arrest and placement in federal custody.

Malinowska, a member of the Portland-based band “Moth Kit,” identifies as transgender and legally changed her gender from male to female in May 2023, according to court records. Several individuals arrested or charged in connection with the ICE occupation have also identified as transgender.

David Pearl, 35, of Portland, faces charges of failing to obey a lawful order and creating a disturbance. According to the Justice Department, Pearl rushed to interfere with the lawful arrest of Malinowska on the evening of June 29. He was subsequently arrested and taken into federal custody.

Trenten Edward Barker, 34, of Portland, has been charged with felony arson and depredation of federal property. Barker, who identifies as trans nonbinary, is accused of carrying out an arson attack on the ICE facility, which is located adjacent to an elementary school.

August Dean Gordon, 31, of Beaverton, Oregon, has also been federally charged with willful depredation of government property and assaulting federal officers. As previously reported by The Post Millennial, Gordon is accused of physically attacking five federal officers on June 29 when they moved to arrest him for allegedly damaging the ICE facility. According to an affidavit, he kicked the officers, grabbed their genitals aggressively, and left at least one officer bloodied.

More than 20 individuals have been arrested and charged for alleged crimes committed during Antifa’s 24-hour occupation outside the ICE facility. Charges include assaulting federal officers—some involving a knife—using high-powered lasers to blind officers, disobeying lawful orders, and setting fires near the facility after employing devices to trap federal agents and others inside the ICE office.
