Why Some Believe JD Vance Could Replace Donald Trump as President by the End of 2025

Posted on July 21, 2025 By Star No Comments on Why Some Believe JD Vance Could Replace Donald Trump as President by the End of 2025

While JD Vance currently serves as Vice President under Donald Trump’s second term, growing speculation suggests he could find himself in the Oval Office sooner than expected.

Donald Trump began his second term as President in January 2025, and as expected, his return has been anything but quiet. From his public clash with Elon Musk and controversial statements about immigration policy to his connections with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, Trump continues to dominate headlines—and not always for the right reasons.

One major point of concern has been Trump’s alleged links to Epstein. Though Trump recently called on the Justice Department to release all grand jury testimony related to Epstein—pending court approval—many see this as too little, too late. Critics accuse the administration of selectively releasing documents and avoiding full transparency.

On July 19, Trump wrote on Truth Social:

“I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval… nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request. It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!”

But despite this public stance, some analysts believe Trump’s association with Epstein could lead to legal or political consequences that may end his presidency early.

Political commentator Josh Greene recently shared a viral TikTok video outlining why he thinks JD Vance could become president before the end of 2025. Greene emphasized that his views are speculative, but pointed to a few key factors that he believes are telling.

First, he noted Trump’s declining popularity, which may weaken his political footing even among Republicans. Second, Vance has remained relatively untouched by the Epstein controversy, distancing him from one of the administration’s most damaging scandals.

Beyond controversy, Trump’s health has also raised concerns. He was recently diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)—a condition affecting blood flow in the legs. While not immediately life-threatening, some worry it may hint at broader health issues that could complicate his ability to serve a full term.

“He’s not in good shape,” Greene remarked, suggesting that a combination of scandal and health issues could open the door for Vance to step in.

Still, many doubt Trump would ever willingly give up power. As one user wrote online, “There is absolutely zero chance Trump would ever resign,” while another added, “I think Trump’s ego is too big to resign.”

Some worry Vance may not be an improvement. “He’s just as bad,” one commenter wrote. Others went further, calling Vance “more dangerous” due to his younger age and political ambition.

While there’s no concrete evidence suggesting Trump will step down, the idea of JD Vance rising to the presidency by default continues to circulate—and for many, that’s just as controversial.
