As the Trumps traversed the South Lawn of the White House on their way to Texas, they were observed with their arms around each other, a rare sight for a couple typically characterized by restrained public displays of affection.
Later that day, after assessing the flood damage in Kerrville, they were seen holding hands on the tarmac at Lackland Air Force Base prior to boarding Air Force One.

“I extend my deepest sympathies to all the parents who have lost their beautiful young souls,” she stated softly, mentioning that she had received a bracelet crafted by the campers as a poignant tribute. “Our deepest sympathies go out to the community and to everyone who has lost a loved one.”
