CNN’s Scott Jennings Reveals How Every Conservative Feels About Comey’s Indictment

Posted on September 27, 2025 By Star No Comments on CNN’s Scott Jennings Reveals How Every Conservative Feels About Comey’s Indictment

Former FBI Director James Comey has finally been hit with the hammer—two felony counts from a grand jury: lying to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding. Predictably, the Left is screeching that this is Trump “settling scores” with his political enemies. But let’s be real—this is justice, baby. Maybe it’s both.

Here’s the gossip: Comey and his pals thought they were clever enough to cook up felonies in broad daylight to trap Trump. Russiagate was their magic sword, and instead, it turned into a rubber chicken. They failed, Trump stormed back and won in 2024, and now the bill’s come due.

Scott Jennings, bless him, summed up the mood of every conservative watching Comey’s perp walk fantasy unfold: it’s payback, it’s overdue, and it feels so good:

Every Democrat in this country for years made no secret about the fact that they wanted Donald Trump and his people prosecuted, put in jail, and prevented from running for reelection. They opened this box, and now they’re living in it.

Absolutely. Oh, here’s some additional info from the very biased New York Times:

A federal grand jury on Thursday indicted James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director, a culmination of President Trump’s relentless demand for retribution after the bureau investigated his 2016 presidential campaign over possible ties to Russia.

Mr. Comey was indicted on one count of making a false statement and one count of obstruction of a congressional proceeding in connection with his testimony before a Senate committee in September 2020.

The indictment, filed in Alexandria, Va., came over the objection of career prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia who found insufficient evidence to support charges but were overruled by Lindsey Halligan, a Trump loyalist handpicked by the president to run the office a few days ago.

It represents the most significant legal step yet by the Trump administration to harry, punish and humiliate a former official the president identified as an enemy, at the expense of procedural safeguards intended to shield the Justice Department from political interference and personal vendettas.

The Times’ though…you can tell its writers and editors can barely contain their anger.

And here’s Fox News’ Jesse Watters putting the finishing touches on this by shutting down “The Five” co-host Jessica Tarlov’s pathetic ranting after defending the prosecutions of Trump World for years: We don’t care what you think. We’re running this, so deal with it.
