‘Witch’ Makes Shock Admission After Cursing Charlie Kirk Days Before Murder

Posted on September 28, 2025 By Star No Comments on ‘Witch’ Makes Shock Admission After Cursing Charlie Kirk Days Before Murder

A self-proclaimed “witch” who says she was involved in a curse placed on Charlie Kirk before his assassination has expressed regret for the distress it caused to his widow, Erika Kirk.

The spellcaster, who calls herself Priestess Lilin, spoke to the Daily Mail after the liberal website Jezebel admitted to paying witches on Etsy to hex the Turning Point USA founder just two days before he was shot and killed at a Utah Valley University event on Sept. 10, The Daily Mail reported.

Priestess Lilin insisted the ritual was not intended to physically harm Kirk and said she did not “celebrate the loss of life.” She offered to correspond privately with Erika about the matter, telling the outlet, “We regret any distress experienced. What we do is done based on an impartial perspective and at a professional level. We respect the widow’s feelings and welcome a private conversation to address her concerns.”

She added: “Our spells are spiritual in nature and we do not perform actions that are intended to cause physical harm.”

According to Jezebel’s now-deleted article, published Sept. 8, the outlet contacted witches on Etsy and purchased curses targeting Kirk. The piece, titled “We Paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk,” detailed a ritual involving the burning of Kirk’s photograph. The anonymous author mused: “I can buy a curse as easily as I can buy a phone charger.”

The article was quickly removed after Kirk’s assassination. Jezebel later said in a statement: “This story was published on September 8. Jezebel condemns the shooting of Charlie Kirk in the strongest possible terms. We do not endorse, encourage, or excuse political violence of any kind.”

Megyn Kelly revealed on her YouTube show Tuesday that Erika Kirk was “genuinely rattled” by the Jezebel article. Erika and Charlie were so concerned that they contacted a Catholic priest the night before the shooting to pray over him and attempt to undo the supposed curse.

“This is what I want the people at Jezebel to know,” Kelly said. “Erika and Charlie Kirk heard about these curses, and it really rattled Erika in particular. Why torture a family like this? A Christian, believing family. Why do this vile thing to a young couple?”

Priestess Lilin told the Daily Mail that her “sister,” a witch known as High Priestess Leamashtu, was the one who actually performed the ritual. Both women have since been banned from Etsy, where they had previously advertised spells for protection, healing, and curses.

Among their offerings were “Infernal Justice Black Magick Spells” and “Generational Black Magic Curses,” as well as rituals promising to “destroy friendships,” “make them lose their job,” or “make them hate each other.”

Lilin defended her practices, saying, “The spiritual community views demons as multi-faceted spirits and not one-dimensional big bad evils. Mediumship is also perceived as an ethically neutral practice. Is it effective? Yes.”

Asked if she believed the spell had any role in Kirk’s death, she replied: “I would like to say that a person’s life and death always have weight, and we do not celebrate the loss of life. While we cannot and would not claim responsibility for Mr. Kirk’s death, we do affirm that the magic we work with in our daily lives is very real.”

Kelly said Erika leaned on her Christian faith to process the ordeal. “She knew Christian teaching on this subject. She loved Charlie absolutely. She was scared when she heard of the curses Jezebel had culled up,” Kelly said.

“So much so that she and Charlie contacted a friend – who I believe she said was a Catholic priest – and asked him to pray with them and over Charlie, the night before he was murdered. She eventually worked it through, and so did Charlie, that, as she told me, ‘weapons will form but not prosper,’ that ‘satan and those witches have no power,’” Kelly added.
