The Left’s war on women just hit another milestone.
Minnesota’s liberal Supreme Court — stacked entirely with Democrat appointees, most of them courtesy of Gov. Tim Walz — has ruled that men can now compete in women’s sports. In a breathtaking act of judicial activism, the court declared that protecting female athletes from unfair competition somehow constitutes “discrimination” under the state’s so-called Human Rights Act.
Not even kidding when I write because it’s true. If you’re a woman in Minnesota, you really don’t have any real rights.
The Minnesota Supreme Court on Wednesday delivered a win to a transgender weightlifter, saying she’s protected by the state’s expansive human rights law, while the organization that banned her from competing in its women’s division said it still has a chance.
The high court found that USA Powerlifting’s policy that bars JayCee Cooper from competing in its women’s division is “facially discriminatory” under the Minnesota Human Rights Act. That law protects transgender individuals against discrimination based on sexual orientation.
While the court sent part of the case back to a lower court to determine whether USA Powerlifting has a “legitimate business purpose” for excluding JayCee Cooper, her attorneys said they won on the most important legal claim and that further proceedings won’t change the ultimate outcome.
It is literally pathetically crazy that Democrats — the self-proclaimed “party of women” — keep proving they’re anything but. Time and again, they put the demands of a handful of delusional men ahead of the rights, safety, and dignity of women.
This is discrimination against women, plain and simple — and it’s abuse, too. By allowing biological men to invade women’s sports, Democrats aren’t promoting equality; they’re erasing it. It’s also a blatant violation of Title IX, the very law that was designed to protect women’s opportunities in athletics. But the Democrats couldn’t care less about real civil rights anymore.
Of course, he does.
The only way to push back against this madness is to stop playing the Left’s game altogether. Men and women are biologically different — that’s not politics, that’s science. Men have undeniable physical advantages in size, strength, and speed, no matter how many hormones they take or what they “identify” as.
Pretending otherwise doesn’t make things fair; it makes women’s sports a farce. If we want to protect competition, opportunity, and basic fairness, we have to stop bending the knee to the Left’s gender ideology and start standing up for reality again.
USA Weightlifting should simply walk away from holding events in Minnesota until the residents there snap out of it and stop electing these lunatic Democrats.
