Dem Leaders Booker, Jeffries Pull Cringeworthy Stunt To ‘Connect’ With Americans

Posted on April 27, 2025 By Star No Comments on Dem Leaders Booker, Jeffries Pull Cringeworthy Stunt To ‘Connect’ With Americans

If you didn’t believe Democrats were getting desperate to try and win back a majority of the electorate after the party’s trouncing in November, you’ll have to rethink that position, thanks to the lunatic stunt two party leaders just pulled. After likening President Donald Trump to Hitler for the past decade, which voters decisively rejected again last fall, Democrats are now more unpopular than used car salesmen and lawyers, with approval ratings in the 20s, and they’re even losing support among 18- to 29-year-olds—a demographic they once counted on reliably.

Then they doubled down by aligning themselves with illegal-alien interests in the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case and by defending a Wisconsin judge accused of helping an undocumented immigrant evade federal agents. Could they do anything to worsen their standing? Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) have proven the answer is ‘yes.’ Both sat on the steps of Congress on Sunday, livestreaming a “conversation with the American people to focus on our common values, our faith traditions and the moral moment facing our nation.”

They’re running a virtue-signaling gambit—portraying themselves as sharing the same values and faith traditions to earn trust. Notice Jeffries’ cross and his constantly moving hands if you can manage to watch the full livestream. And let’s not forget the ‘average Americans’ and other Democrats who just happened to show up to listen — complete with protest signs.

They claim the Gospel is about standing up for the poor and marginalized—but the Gospel is about Jesus. Yes, He calls us to care for the needy, but the focus remains on Him. Yet they can’t resist injecting leftist “liberation theology” into their religious message. They’re not there to preach to us; they’re there to pass laws that benefit Americans. Under Democrat policies, inflation has surged and more people have been driven into poverty. This sit-in was supposedly about the budget bill, yet Jeffries didn’t even mention it in his X announcement. Booker did, but he resorted to fear-mongering lies about benefit cuts and spreading falsehoods about Project 2025.

It’s just another rambling exercise—like Booker’s 25 hours of nothing on the Senate floor. And let’s be clear: Democrats helped create the dangerous border situation that Trump now has to clean up. They’re the ones abandoning norms by embracing illegal aliens. What’s really ironic is they call this a “conversation” and invite the public to join—yet they disable comments and chat on YouTube. That tells you they don’t want genuine feedback, because they know the reaction won’t be positive.

Even as they attack President Trump and the Republicans, they highlight how different they are. Trump fields all kinds of questions—even from hostile media—and isn’t afraid to fire back. That’s fighting for principle. This sit-in is just posturing, and it’s only drawing a handful of fellow Democrats. Listen to Booker quoting “I’m just a bill” while talking to American Federation of Teachers and anti-school choice left-wing lunatic head Randi Weingarten. How much lower can their numbers go?
