Top FBI Official Makes Chilling Claim About Epstein Investigation

Posted on July 28, 2025 By Star No Comments on Top FBI Official Makes Chilling Claim About Epstein Investigation

During his tenure, embattled FBI deputy director Dan Bongino disclosed that he has learnt things that have “shocked me down to my core.”

Amid growing criticism of his treatment of the Epstein files, Bongino posted a mysterious statement on social media, promising to find “the truth.”

He added, “We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned.”

“We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law. We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE.”

As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land, but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not “my truth,” or “your truth,” but THE TRUTH.’

In his remarks, Bongino made reference to recent findings about the weaponization and corruption of the government.

While stating that “things are happening,” he did not specify when the broader public may become aware of what he was discussing.

Recently, Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel have been under fire for how they handled the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein papers.

Earlier this month, Bongino, a long-time major proponent of claims about Epstein’s alleged client list, threatened to resign due to the poor management.

On a Friday following the release of a DOJ letter stating that Epstein had committed himself and that no other individuals listed in the files will face charges, he failed to appear. ‘Epstein client list’ was also omitted.

Officials were beginning to worry that Bongino would not show up for work the next Monday, but he showed up a few hours later than anticipated.

At the time, it was said that Trump was incensed that one of his personally chosen appointments would publicly criticise him.

According to a DOJ insider who spoke to Daily Mail, Bongino was prepared to resign if Attorney General Pam Bondi did not.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Bondi informed Trump in May that his name was included in the Epstein files, continuing the consequences from that message.

Bondi also allegedly admitted that the files should be withheld by the administration because they included pictures of child sexual abuse.

In the 1980s and 1990s, the president was friends with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, a British socialite.

Todd Blanche, the Deputy Attorney General, questioned Maxwell this week. Because of his role in Epstein’s crimes, she is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.

Earlier this month, the 63-year-old made it apparent that she would be open to discussing the subject in front of Congress.

Trump has not been charged with any crimes, and a person’s name in the files does not necessarily indicate that they were complicit in Epstein’s child sex trafficking.

Since Maxwell ‘didn’t hold back’ during questioning, many people think she’s trying to get President Donald Trump to pardon her.

Trump refused to rule out invoking his presidential pardon powers for Maxwell saying: “I’m allowed to do it, but it’s something I haven’t thought about.”
